Biography van Wildstreet

Armed with big choruses, blazing guitar solos, and powerful melodies, WILDSTREET is a sex-fueled rock n roll explosion beckoning the glory days of 80s arena rock. Two years after their debut EP release by Las Vegas based indie label, Retrospect Records, WILDSTREET has done four extensive tours and geared up for their much anticipated new EP. WILDSTREET's live performances and dedication to making quality records has got rock fans and critics buzzing worldwide. They're balls out, fist pumping rock n roll is exactly what today's rock scene has been waiting for. Wildstreet began in 2006. Over the course of the next 7 years, the band released two EPs & two music videos which have received well-over 3,000,000 youtube views. Wildstreet’s songs have appeared on National/International TV networks including: MTV, VH1, Oxygen, TBS and in a THQ Video game. The band toured non-stop from 2009-2013, and appeared at the largest US music festivals: including SXSW, M3 rock festival, and headlined the side stage at Rocklahoma for 5 years straight. The band was also their region’s winner in the Best Buy/Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands for Rockstar Energy’s Uproar Festival, sharing the bill with Avenged Sevenfold, and Three Days Grace. They opened for a number of well-known bands including The Bouncing Souls, Twisted Sister, Michael Monroe, Crashdiet, Kix, LA Guns. After concluding their first US tour in August 2009, the band began recording their follow up to their Retrospect debut. Released Jan. 25th, 2011, "WILDSTREET II: ...Faster...Louder" ignites your speakers with dialed up charisma and brings you front and center into the party, demonstrating their classic "less talk, more rock attitude". TV network's have taken to the albums five tracks. 'Cocked & Ready' has been heard on TBS's new hit show 'Glory Daze', and 'Shake it', 'Poison Kiss', and 'Cocked & Ready' appeared in multiple episodes of E!'s 'Married to Rock'. Slated to play their third straight year at Rocklahoma 2011, WILDSTREET played 3 sets at each Rocklahoma in 2009 & 2010 alongside luminaries ZZ Top, Cinderella, Godsmack, and Buckcherry. They've also shared the stage with a number of well-known bands including Twisted Sister, Kix, LA Guns, Faster Pussycat, Stephen Pearcy of Ratt, Matt Sorum (Guns 'n Roses, Velvet Revolver), Bang Tango, & The Last Vegas. In 2011, the band released Wildstreet II..Faster..Louder! to widespread critical acclaim. They made an appearance on The Jimmy Fallon show and their songs were licensed to TV shows on E!, MTV, VH1, Oxygen, TBS & in a THQ Video game. Later that year, the band released the official music video for ‘Poison Kiss’, which included a cameo by Don Jameson of The Metal Show. WILDSTREET now had the attention of rock fans worldwide. In 2012, the band released the single ‘Easy Does It’ and it’s official music video. The video went viral on YouTube. (Wildstreet has well-over 5 million views and nearly 8,000 subscribers on that platform). After taking a 2 1/2 year break off & dodging rumors of a band breakup, WILDSTREET exploded back onto the NYC scene in 2016, headlining Gramercy Theatre with new line-up. In early 2017, the band rocked NYC with Faster Pussycat and Biters and headed to Rocklahoma for the 6th time. The band began work on their single ‘Raise Hell’ after Rocklahoma. Released in December 2017, it ushered in a new period for the band. They headlined Irving Plaza for the single’s release party and was handpicked by Dorothy to open for her New York City tour date at The Bowery Ballroom. In February 2018, the band released a lyric/concert video for ‘Raise Hell’. WILDSTREET spent the remainder of 2018 in the studio recording, Wildstreet III. They performed regional tour dates/festival dates. Highlights include: opening for Sebastian Bach & Escape The Fate. In March, the band sold out The Knitting Factory Brooklyn and then headed out on their first tour in Europe, playing 10 shows in Belgium, The Netherlands and Germany, including Sleaze Fest 2019 in Bochum, Germany. Upon returning to NYC, WILDSTREET filmed the official music video for ‘Tennessee Cocaine’. In July, they headlined a sold out NYC show at Saint Vitus and headed out for a short west coast tour which included stops at The Whisky-a gogo & Great American Music Hall. 80’s Rockers Wildstreet are back with another blistering collection of tracks in the form of their latest album III.
