Biography van Black Spiders
The Black Spiders are a hard rock band from Sheffield, England, formed in 2008. All Black Spiders news at: http://theblackspiders.com/newsletter/signup Black Spiders hail from Sheffield, led by Pete ‘Spider’ Spiby with Ozzy ‘Owl’ Lister on guitar, Mark ‘Dark Shark’ Thomas also on guitar, ‘Tiger Si’ Atkinson on drums and Adam ‘Fox’ Irwin on bass. To date they have released the single St. Peter (Dec 2008) Cinco Hombres (Diez Cojones) EP (July 2009) No Goats in the Omen EP (May 2010). They released their debut album Sons Of The North on 7th February - all releases on Dark Riders / Cargo Records. Black Spiders have a wealth of touring experience under their collective belts throughout the UK in March/April 2010 with Airbourne and Europe and Scandinavia for 7 weeks at the end of 2010. They have played many UK tours with Black Stone Cherry, The Datsuns, Stone Gods, Danko Jones, The Wildhearts and The Answer. In April 2010 they headlined their first tour with Slaves to Gravity supporting. In July 2010 the band were hand picked by Ozzy Osbourne, to support him at the iTunes festival at the Roundhouse in London. Ozzy liked the band so much, he invited the band to play Ozzfest at the O2 Arena in London on the 18th September, later that year. After the release of Sons of the North the band toured the UK in Feb 2011, with most shows selling out, supporting on these dates were Viking Skull and Turbo Wolf.
