Biography van Stala & So

Founded in 1997, So. is known for melodic rock tunes and professional musicianship. The band is fronted by a charismatic singer, Stala, and has had the freedom to take their music in their own direction, without relying on help from any record companies. Their live performances and music, written by Stala and the other band members, has entertained audiences while gathering a lot of fans over the last 10 years. The 70's and 80's glam rock bands Sweet, T-Rex and Ziggy Stardust -era David Bowie are a few of their inspirations, So. is making music professionally and at the same time for great entertainment and fun. The late finnish comedian, Spede Pasanen, said: "The main thing is to have FUN!". This has been, and continues to be, the guideline for So. as well. No one is left cold by the show by So.! So. released their debut album, “It Is So.”, on Feb 16th 2011. It is a "best of" -type of selection of songs from the last 10 years. The band has written, recorded and produced the album themselves. In the beginning of 2011 the band took part in the finnish Eurovision Song Contest under the name of Stala & So. They made their way to the national finals with nine other artists and performed on the live tv show in front of a nearly million viewers. The band didn't make it to Germany so they now have a chance to focus on the touring and promotion of the debut album.
